About The Bootlegger Tour:
The Bootlegger is an infamous character from one of America’s most pivotal periods-Prohibition. The act of smuggling alcohol and goods through the back country has heavily influenced the paths we take though the state as well as the reasons for why the distilleries chose to plant themselves where they did.
This dynamic tour takes you to two of the oldest and most popular distilleries on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail – Woodford Reserve and Maker’s Mark. The lesser known stop in between is Limestone Branch. We look back at Woodford and Makers, while Limestone Branch ties the past and future together with their bourbon and fast growing demand.
For those looking for the best combination of craft, brand, history and future, come with us down this sordid trail of distilling though Kentucky’s scenic back country.
This tour includes catered flavorful food from Splendid Fare catering to prepare your palates for rye-forward bourbons. You will have plenty to eat throughout the day, but we always have a scheduled lunch stop in the event that you are still hungry. In addition to food we provide waters, ice, napkins, sodas and silverware.
