About The Manhattan Tour:

The Manhattan recipe is one of the most classic and notorious recipes featuring bitters, vermouth, spicy bourbon, and garnish of cherry. This tour features three distilleries known for their history, both before and after Prohibition when this cocktail made its place in history.

The day starts with Buffalo Trace, which is the oldest continually operating distillery in the United States, followed by Woodford Reserve – the oldest of the 10 Bourbon Trail distilleries. The tour’s final stop is at Kentucky Artisans – a contract distiller which features a 100% High Rye Whiskey in the tasting room called Highspire, as well as the Jefferson’s Reserve products.

This tour includes catered, flavorful food from Splendid Fare Catering to prepare your palates for rye forward bourbons. You will have plenty to eat throughout the day, but we always have a scheduled lunch stop in the event that you are still hungry. In addition to food we provide waters, ice, napkins, sodas and silverware.
